CCU is one of the leading nursing schools in Colorado, offering a Pre-Nursing to BSN program for students seeking the BSN degree, and an online RN to BSN degree completion option for licensed RNs seeking to complete the BSN degree. CCU also offers a master's degree in nursing — a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and a doctoral degree in Nursing — a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Pre-Nursing to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) option
The Pre-Nursing to BSN program is designed for students who want to begin or advance their health care careers. Students enter the program after meeting admission requirements and completing 60 credits of prerequisite coursework. The program combines in seat and online courses in a blended format in a year-round 24-month delivery format.
Online Nursing degree option
The online RN to BSN degree completion program option is designed for RNs who want to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The online schooling for nursing format allows RNs to complete their coursework from their own convenient location without having to travel to class.

The 39-credit program offers students two areas of emphasis — Nursing Education and Clinical Care Management in Adult/Geriatric — that are in high demand. The MSN program is available online, and may be completed in just over two years of full-time study.
Doctor of Nursing Practice
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Visionary Leadership at CCU is designed for nurses — nurse practitioners, nurse administrators and healthcare leaders, clinical nurse specialists, and nurse educators — who already have an MSN. The online DNP at CCU is a practice-focused doctorate that will prepare experts in specialized advanced nursing practice.
