Bradley K. Benson

Trustee Spotlight

Mr. Benson is General Counsel for Zephyr Wind Services, a national service and parts provider to the wind energy industry. Before joining Zephyr, Brad practiced business and real estate transactional law for nearly 30 years, elevating to partner at several prominent regional and national firms, including the Denver office of Greenberg Traurig. In 2015, Mr. Benson founded Volant Law LLC, a business and real estate law firm in Englewood, Colorado. Brad’s experience lies in negotiating and contracting for commercial transactions and related financing.

Brad earned a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Economics with honors from Wheaton College, his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Notre Dame Law School (also completing the Concannon Programme of International Law at the Notre Dame London Law Center), and a master’s degree in Taxation (LL.M) from the University of Denver.

Outside the office, Brad and his wife Kia enjoy the rigors of raising three sons. His personal interests include ice hockey, cycling, and hunting. Before his appointment to the CCU Board of Trustees, Mr. Benson served on the board of several local non-profits, including Inner City Health Center, Confluence Ministries, Front Range Christian School, and Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic (JAMLAC).
