Associate of Arts Degree Track
CCU Academy offers high school students the opportunity to complete an entire associate degree.
The CCU Academy Associate of Arts degree is designed for high school students and focuses on Colorado Christian University's general education curriculum which includes Arts and Humanities, Biblical Studies, Communication, Science, and Social Science. This liberal arts track provides a solid foundation for many undergraduate majors and careers.
The associate degree requires completion of 60 hours, including 36 hours in general education courses and 24 hours in electives.
The associate degree track is a rigorous course of study that requires adequate planning, along with a steadfast commitment to an intense high school experience consisting of a large quantity of college-level coursework throughout the junior and senior years. It is highly recommended that students work closely with their high school guidance counselor to ensure academic success and timely completion. Students on the associate track will also have access to a CCU Academy Student Advisor who will help them stay on track with their degree requirements.
Students may transfer up to 75% of the required credits toward the CCU A.A. in Liberal Arts degree track. Students may apply dual credit, AP (scores of 4 or higher), and online dual enrollment coursework toward the associate degree. Additional course requirements can be completed online or accepted as transfer credit from another accredited college or university.
