Become a CCU Dual Credit Partner

Colorado Christian University's dual credit program enables high schools to offer collegiate-level courses on their campuses by utilizing their college-level curriculum and highly credentialed faculty. Dual credit courses are typically junior- and senior-level courses that are more rigorous than the normal curriculum.

More than 150 high schools partner with CCU to offer dual credit courses to their students, and CCU's dual credit program is available to both private and public schools across the U.S., in several countries, and online.

Partner School Elibility

Submit Faculty & Course Information

  • Determine the college-level courses within your curriculum. Colorado Christian University encourages schools to submit general education courses, which most colleges and universities across the country require. See examples in CCU's Dual Credit Course Equivalencies.
  • Fill out the Faculty/Course Application for each course that you would like considered for dual credit. The application requires submission of the instructor's curriculum vitae (including industry experience), unofficial transcripts and other required documents noted on the School Application Checklist.
  • Required dual credit faculty qualifications include a master's degree in the subject area or closely related field or a master's degree and 18 graduate credit hours in the subject area or closely related field.

After the application has been reviewed, the CCU dual credit representative will communicate to the school the outcome of the decision. CCU may request additional course materials in order to determine the collegiate level of the course.

If accepted, the school will receive course equivalency information from the Dual Enrollment department and move forward in setting up student registration for the desired semester.

Grades & Transcripts

  • High schools are responsible for submitting final grades at the conclusion of courses. The Dual Enrollment department will contact each school with information regarding grade submission.
  • Students must order official transcripts to be sent to their universities. CCU will not send transcripts unless students have placed an online order. Make sure students request the transcript be held until grades are posted.

  • Faculty and staff members who teach dual credit courses at partner high schools will receive a tuition discount to CCU's College of Adult and Graduate Studies.
