As an NCAA Division II university, our hope for our athletes is for "Every athlete to be provided the opportunity to know God and to make Him known while having a great experience competing as a Division II athlete." Our mission is to empower student-athletes to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and athletically through relational mentoring, discipleship, academic support, and athletic excellence.

2024-25 Highlights

• Men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the National Championships; the fifth year in a row for the men and fourth year in a row for the women. Three athletes brought home All American titles including Matthew Storer, his 10th All American title at CCU, Shannon King, her third title, and Britta Holmberg.
• Men’s golf looked like the consensus number one team that they are winning all five tournaments they competed in during the fall season. CCU posted four different individual winners with Adam Duncan claiming two titles of his own. 
• Women’s soccer qualified for the RMAC Tournament for the first time since 2018 under the leadership of first year Head Coach Caleb Cole.
• Women’s golf claimed a championship title at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella with Raya Schulz claiming the individual title.
• Volleyball’s record is currently 19-10, the most wins in a season under Head Coach Bobby Blanken. They took down South Dakota Mines and Colorado Mesa to make the program’s first ever appearance in the RMAC Tournament Final. The Cougars advance to Regionals for the second time in program history.

2023-24 Highlights

• CCU Athletics was awarded its eleventh Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Cup.
• Men’s Golf claims the first NCAA National Title in school history and is the first by any men's golf team in the history of the storied Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and the first national title in Colorado Christian Athletics history. It is also the first title at any level brought home by a Colorado-based golf team ever.
• Adam Duncan was named D2 Ping All American, Xavier Bighaus was named GCAA Honorable Mention All American and BCGCA All American Nod, Dylan Arthur earned Ping All Region, and Adam Duncan, Dylan Arthur, and Peyton Jones earned GCAA Cobalt All American Scholar award. 
• Men’s and women’s cross country teams continued to leave their mark at NCAA National
• Championships; men’s cross country finished eighth; women’s cross country finished sixteenth. Matthew Storer finished 3rd at the NCAA National Championships and was named NCAA DII Cross Country All American as well as RMAC Scholar of the Year.
• Softball had another incredible year finishing with an overall record of 50-10 as runner ups at the RMAC Tournament and advanced to the South Central Regionals. Kayla Middleton and Kenzie Middleton earned All American titles from two different associations followed by Academic All American honors for the twins and Logan Menzies.
• Three track and field athletes competed at Indoor National Championships; five All American titles were brought home from Matthew Storer (2x), Josh Pierantoni (2x), and Shannon King.
• Five track athletes advanced to the Outdoor National Championships; Matthew Storer, Josh Pierantoni, Alex Vance, Hudson Majeski, and Shannon King earned All American Titles.
