Housing

Living on campus is viewed by the University as an important part of a student’s educational experience.

Full-time (12 credit hours or more per semester), unmarried, first and second-year students (under the age of 21), who are taking courses in the College of Undergraduate Studies (traditional program), are required to live on campus.

Students who are married, are 21 years of age or older, are living with parents in the Denver area, have part-time status (less than 12 credit hours per semester), or are on a special program, are usually allowed to live off campus by submitting a Residency Requirement Waiver.

Meal Plans

All unmarried first and second-year students under the age of 21, who live in on-campus housing, are required to have a meal plan through CCU.

First-year students are required to have Meal Plan A. Second-year students may choose either Meal Plan A or Meal Plan B. Third and fourth-year students living on-campus are not required to have a meal plan, but may choose from any of the available plans.

In addition, students living off-campus may also select from any of the plans if they so choose.

Unused meals and declining balances are non-refundable, as they are a part of your meal plan contract and expire at the end of each semester. Meals and declining balances will not be transferred from semester to semester.

  • Any transfer student who has completed 30-60 credits after graduating from high school (as determined by admissions upon enrollment).
