A.A. in General Studies
The Associate of Arts in General Studies degree combines general education and elective courses, preparing you to earn a bachelor's degree that can create a solid foundation for career opportunities and advancement. In the A.A. in general studies degree program, you will gain a broad foundation of knowledge through general studies courses that cover every aspect of general education. For many adult students, this program is the first step toward completing a bachelor's degree.

- The general studies degree requires 39 credit hours of general education courses and 21 credit hours of electives.
- The program is specially designed for adult students who are busy with work and family commitments.
- Students may pursue transfer credits by exam and/or portfolio prior learning credit options, transfer prior college, military, and technical credits, allowing them to validate learning experiences in personal, professional and academic environments.
- Students may complete the coursework for the Associate of Arts Degree online.

State Exclusions for Online Students
Colorado Christian University is required by the U.S. Department of Education to be in compliance with state laws regarding where we can offer distance and/or online education. The College of Adult and Graduate Studies at Colorado Christian University offers courses to online students in all states with some exceptions for specific academic programs.
