Online Certificate in Biblical Studies
Colorado Christian University's Certificate in Biblical Studies will help you develop a comprehensive knowledge of both the Old and New Testaments, equipping you for ministry in a variety of settings. You will study the Bible online, learning about the basic themes, issues and schools-of-thought in Christian theology, as well as develop the tools to integrate biblical knowledge with contemporary world issues and events.
Program Focus
Interpreting the Bible; history and literature of ancient Israel; and early Christian literature
In this Bible education program, you can choose an elective to customize your program. Course content has practical application in work, church and personal settings. The online Biblical Studies Certificate is available as a stand-alone program, or it can be used to supplement any CCU bachelor's degree, giving you an opportunity to consider how biblical principles integrate with your career.
- 12 total credit hours (9 in core)
- Prerequisite Course: Students are required to have fulfilled a 3 credit hour prerequisite in Introduction to College Writing (ENG 103A). These 3 credit hours are not included in the 12 total hours.
- Classes are typically completed in 5-week blocks
