Disability and Accessibility Services for Adult and Graduate Students
Colorado Christian University (CCU), College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS), ensures that qualified students with documented disabilities and/or medical conditions meeting academic and technical requirements whom are requesting accommodations, receive reasonable accommodations for equal access to academic programs and the University experience.
Please note that notifying general faculty or staff about your disability does not guarantee accommodations. Prospective or current students seeking accommodations must contact CAGS DAS and follow the accommodation request process to assess your eligibility. No other department at the University is qualified to determine accommodations. For more information on the accommodation request process, please refer below.
Procedure for Requesting Accommodations
Students with diagnosed disabilities and/or medical conditions may request accommodations at any time during their program.
To start the process of requesting accommodations:
- If you are a current student but have not yet completed an application with DAS: Please complete the required “Accommodation Application” form online at eforms.ccu.edu.
- Prospective students and/or students unable to access E-Forms may also request a PDF copy of the Accommodations Application form by emailing CAGSdas@ccu.edu.
When completing your application:
- Attach any documentation from your diagnosing professional(s) about your confirmed condition(s) and the impacts you experience related to any diagnosis you are requesting accommodations for. This information helps us determine your eligibility and collaborate with you to determine the best resources and support for your time at here at CCU.
Have Approved Accommodations through CAGS DAS or a Previously Completed Application?
If you have previously received a Certificate of Accommodations (COA) through CAGS DAS or submitted an application but didn’t complete the process, please do not fill out another Accommodation Application. For further assistance, contact us at CAGSdas@ccu.edu to:
- Obtain a copy of your current accommodations
- Update your disability/medical condition status and accommodation needs
- Request additional accommodations
- Arrange a meeting with CAGS DAS staff
Students with existing accommodations or who have pending/closed applications can also schedule appointments directly at advising.ccu.edu/s/.
