CCU understands that active duty military personnel face unique challenges when pursuing their education. To streamline the process, CCU offers courses online, on site, and on base for everyone going to college while in the military. Military Tuition Rate
CCU offers a special undergraduate military tuition rate to Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard service members and dependents. Students receiving the Post-9/11 GI Bill® at the maximum benefit rate are not eligible for the active duty military tuition discount.
Military Transfer Credit
Military service personnel and veterans may receive undergraduate credit for Basic Training and other formal educational experience gained while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Potential transfer credit may already be documented on the CCAF (Air Force), Joint Service Transcripts (JST), and credit by examination (CLEP/DSST).

Tuition Assistance Information
Each branch of the US Armed Forces maintains their individual tuition assistance policies within the limits of the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security voluntary education guidelines. CCU provides general TA information for each branch, but you should always consult your local military Education Center for specific TA information, policies, and procedures.
GI Bill® Information
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
VA education programs, often referred to as simply the GI Bill®, exist to help Veterans and current Service Members pay for their civilian education and training programs. The two most common education benefits for active duty service members are the Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30) and Post-9/11 (Chapter 33).
With the passage of the Harry W. Colmery Educational Assistance Act of 2017, otherwise known as the Forever GI Bill®, various provisions of the Act may have an impact on veterans’ educational benefits. Please visit the VA’s website for more information about the Forever GI Bill®.
Chapter 30 – Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty (MGIB-AD)
