Curriculum & Program Requirements for DNP at CCU
The DNP program at CCU is an online program available to post-master's students who live in certain states. The eight DNP essentials provided by the AACN, along with the foundational concepts and mission of Colorado Christian University’s School of Nursing and Health Professions have served as the framework for the development of the DNP program and student learning outcomes. This program is completely online and is appropriate for any MSN-prepared nurse seeking a terminal clinical degree, including, but not limited to Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), nurse administrators, nurse leaders, and nurse educators.
In an effort to develop both advanced nursing knowledge of students and the opportunity to gain wisdom from a biblical worldview, the DNP program curriculum works to represent the intersection of the profession of nursing with the values of truth and grace.
The online DNP program at CCU requires 10 courses in order to graduate.
