Admission to the RN to BSN Track
Step 1: Apply for admission to the College of Adult and Graduate Studies to complete your RN-BSN prerequisites.
Prior to admission to the RN-BSN track, students must complete RN-BSN track prerequisites in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS).
- Submit the College of Adult and Graduate Studies Admission Application. Select the Adult Undergraduate Admission Application option and the "Nursing, RN to BSN" track.
- Meet Adult Undergraduate Admission requirements for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS).
- Submit proof of identity and all official college transcripts.

ApplyStep 2: Apply for admission to the RN-BSN track.
After completing the first prerequisite course through the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, students may apply for admission to the RN-BSN track.
Please note: All nursing prerequisites must be successfully completed prior to taking any nursing courses.
Students must also meet the following admission requirements for the RN-BSN track:
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- An associate degree in nursing or diploma in nursing from a nationally accredited program and accredited institution
- Proof of active unencumbered RN licensure (U.S.)
- Complete and successfully pass the following documents through CastleBranch. In the upper right corner, enter package code CG84 (first two alpha, second two numeric). Fees apply and are the responsibility of the student.
- Criminal Background Check. The background check must be completed and passed no later than four weeks after provisional admittance has been extended. Be sure to review the list of disqualifying offenses. Fees apply and are the responsibility of the student.
- Drug Screen. The drug screen must be completed and passed no later than four weeks after provisional admittance has been extended. A failed drug screen will result in non-admittance into the program.

The application process for admission to CCU's RN to BSN track is competitive. Once enrolled in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, the Student Services Advisor assists the student in the admission and progression process.

Colorado Christian University is required by the U.S. Department of Education to be in compliance with state laws regarding where we can offer distance and/or online education. The College of Adult and Graduate Studies at Colorado Christian University offers courses to online students in all states with some exceptions for specific academic programs.
