Join us at our Lakewood Campus for a discussion with Jeremy S. Adams on his thought-provoking book, Hollowed Out: A Warning About America's Next Generation. This powerful book explores the cultural and educational challenges facing today’s youth and offers valuable insights on how our Christ-centered community can respond.
We invite you to participate in a campus-wide reading initiative of Hollowed Out to deepen our campus dialogue and help us engage meaningfully with Jeremy S. Adams during his visit. Let’s come together as a community of learners to reflect on these important issues.
Jeremy S. Adams has dedicated 27 years to teaching government and economics at Bakersfield High School and spent 16 years as a political science lecturer at California State University, Bakersfield. He is widely recognized as one of California’s most accomplished educators, earning numerous prestigious accolades.
Colorado Christian University welcomed the 48th Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Former Second Lady of the United States, Karen, an award-winning educator, to the inaugural session of the President’s Speaker Series, Nov. 15.
“Vice President Mike and Karen Pence are great examples of what it means to be Christian conservatives in America,” said Eric Hogue, CCU president. “During his work in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the White House, the vice president faithfully stood for the Constitution and, in doing so, stood for each and every American,” said Eric Hogue, CCU president. “We were honored to have Mike and Karen Pence speak to the Colorado Christian University community.”
