Our rich history
The Colorado Christian University we know today had a very modest beginning. In 1914, it all started with Denver Bible Institute. Only two students and one teacher were in attendance. Today, CCU has over 6,000 undergraduate, adult, and graduate students. CCU is committed to raising the bar on academic standards, and we are well-prepared for growth as we trust in God's guidance and provision heading into the future.
World-class education
CCU is ranked among the top universities nationwide. It has been named a top Colorado university and is one of the top Christian colleges in Colorado and in the nation. More than 50 majors and minors are offered through our College of Undergraduate Studies for traditional students at our residential campus in Lakewood. In addition, more than 50 bachelor's, master's, and associate degree programs, as well as certificate and educational licensure programs, are offered through our College of Adult and Graduate Studies for adult students at several locations throughout Colorado and online
