CCU's Omicron Delta Kappa Chapter Receives Award
Colorado Christian University's chapter of The Omicron Delta Kappa Society (ODK) was awarded the prestigious Circle of Distinction Award. Out of 305 ODK chapters in the nation, CCU was one of 30 to receive the honor for the 2004-2005 academic year.
The Omicron Delta Kappa Society (ODK) is a national leadership honor society that recognizes superior scholarship, leadership, and character. The society places a special emphasis on the development of the whole person as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society.
Five years ago CCU started a local chapter called the In His Service Leadership Honorary, which was intended to recognize students that excelled in leadership, scholarship, and service. The goal of the local chapter was to eventually align with the ODK; this past April they achieved that goal and were inducted in a special ceremony.
