High Percentage of CCU Students Study Abroad
CCU encourages students to study abroad so they can gain a cultural perspective and see what God is doing around the world. The University is committed to helping students find study abroad programs and opportunities that can enhance their education and impact their lives. Recently, this commitment was recognized by the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
This month, the CCCU released a study that examined member institutions' participation in the Council's BestSemester study abroad programs. Colorado Christian University was ranked 8 for sending the most students (based on the percentage of the student body) to participate in these programs.
The CCCU has over 100 member institutions that have the opportunity to participate in BestSemester programs. The 12 programs are either semester- or summer-long student programs offered by the CCCU, and are categorized as either culture-crossing programs or culture-shaping programs.
