CCU Continues Aggressive Growth into Local Communities
Colorado Christian University's (CCU) College of Adult and Graduate Studies continues to expand its presence in the Denver Metro area with the opening of a new adult undergraduate and graduate education center in Northglenn, Colorado. The University has announced that classes will begin at the Northglenn Center on January 14, 2008.
Located at 10190 Bannock Street, near I-25 and 104th, the center will initially offer the following accredited programs: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Organizational Management in Human Resources; BS, Organizational Management in Christian Leadership; BS, Organizational Management in Project Management; BS, Management Information Systems; and a Certificate in Biblical Studies. Graduate degree programs will be available in the near future.
The Northglenn Center is currently planning for a grand opening celebration in early 2008 to welcome the community to its new facility. This event will be announced shortly.
"We are very excited about expanding opportunities for adult and graduate student education into local communities. This new CCU location is just one more indication of our commitment to bringing Christ-centered education to as many students as possible," stated CCU President Bill Armstrong. "Our adult and graduate programs, led by Vice President Richard Crombie, are preparing a strategy for growth that will continue for several years; stated simply, we intend to be a major presence in higher education within Colorado and beyond."
The Northglenn Center will host public information sessions on Saturday, January 5, 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, January 8, 6:00 p.m. Each session will provide students with opportunities to discuss their educational interests, review prior academic credits, and explore ways to qualify life learning experiences toward earned college credit.
CCU currently operates four adult undergraduate and graduate education centers across the state, plus several partner and satellite locations, in addition to its global online program and main residential campus in Lakewood, Colorado.
