CCU is the Title Sponsor of HeavenFest 2015
Colorado Christian University's College of Adult and Graduate Studies is the title sponsor of HeavenFest 2015, to be held at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. For the first time, HeavenFest is moving to the Denver area and will bring major Christian music artists to the area on August 7 and 8, 2015.
"Colorado Christian University is excited and honored to be the title sponsor of HeavenFest 2015," said Trisha Smith, director of Strategic Marketing for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies at CCU. "CCU's mission is closely aligned with the mission of HeavenFest-to transform lives by cultivating love of God in a Christ-centered community."
HeavenFest, established in 2008, has been the largest Christian gathering in the 7-state Rocky Mountain region, expanding from an attendance of 12,500 in its first year to 33,000 in 2011. After a two-year hiatus, the festival will move from northern Colorado to the Denver area, coinciding with a change in management to Conference Ministries International, a Christian events ministry based in Wheat Ridge.
HeavenFest also provides an opportunity of partnership between CCU and Bandimere Speedway. Last April, CCU honored John Bandimere Jr., owner of the speedway, at their annual Values-Aligned Leadership Summit.
Bandimere was named the Values-Aligned Executive for his unerring principles and his philanthropic work in the area.
While next year's HeavenFest lineup is yet to be announced, previous iterations have included popular Christian artists such as Gungor, Underoath, Jeremy Camp, and Switchfoot. Over 40 artists will perform at Bandimere Speedway next August, and both national and local acts will be represented. Three main stages allow for a diversity of musical styles. Additionally, HeavenFest will provide zones for kids and families.
Tickets for the event go on sale November 8.
