Jeff Hunt to Lead Centennial Institute
CCU President Bill Armstrong announced today that Colorado entrepreneur Jeff Hunt will be the new leader of Colorado Christian University's Centennial Institute (CI). Jeff will join the institute on November 2 and become CI Director at year end when current director John Andrews retires from the University.
Jeff will begin his work from a position of great spiritual and intellectual strength and with significant local and national public recognition because of what John Andrews and his team have already accomplished. Centennial has become an important think tank, championing Christian values and a conservative perspective on culture, economics, and politics. Jeff Hunt will lead Centennial to new heights of influence and service to our community and the nation.
Jeff earned his B.A. degree at Westmont College, Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and Master of Political Management at George Washington University. He has served as Media Coordinator for the Senate Republican Conference, Director of Operations of the Clapham Group, Special Assistant to Senator Rick Santorum in his 2012 White House bid, and Director of Colorado Coalitions for Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.
He is the founder/CEO of Avinova Media Group, one of Colorado's largest conservative advertising agencies. Avinova has 125 clients including commercial firms, churches, nonprofit organizations, and political campaigns. Jeff has been deeply involved with Centennial Institute for the past three years and has energized CI's media and digital marketing efforts, helping to vault the Western Conservative Summit to national prominence. Jeff brings great expertise, enthusiasm, and energy to the task ahead.
Jeff and his wife Nicole have four children: Taylor, age 6; Joshua, 5; Daniel, 3; Steven, 2. They are residents of Highlands Ranch and members of Cherry Hills Community Church.
John Andrews is a former naval officer, White House speech writer, radio commentator, newspaper columnist, and former President of the Colorado State Senate. Upon his retirement as Executive Director of CI, he will become a Centennial Senior Fellow. The University will always be grateful for his ministry in our lives and his effective advocacy of Christ, the Bible, religious liberty, and the values of faith, family and freedom.
