CCU Named the Education Sponsor for 15 Stops of Newsboys Fall Concert Tour
Colorado Christian University is the exclusive education sponsor of 15 dates on the Newsboys' We Believe God's Not Dead tour this fall.
The College of Undergraduate Studies and the College of Adult & Graduate Studies are representing the University during the rock band's performances in California, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.
Every venue will host a CCU sponsor table, where CAGS representatives - including enrollment counselors from the new CCU Dallas-Ft. Worth office - will speak with potential students about the University. CUS representatives will be at select performances as well.
At each concert, CUS will award one scholarship to a prospective student who is interested in the traditional program and enters to win. CAGS will give away one Kindle Fire HD6 electronic tablet at every performance to a person who enters based on his or her interest in the online program.
CCU will also have an on-stage presence throughout the shows. Representatives will promote the University through video, testimonials, and more, sharing CCU's integration of faith and learning with thousands of Newsboys fans.
With the strategic objective to become a great university, CCU hopes its partnership with the Newsboys will attract students from across the country to the Christ-centered college.
The Newsboys are a Grammy-nominated Christian rock band from Australia. They have released 17 studio albums, which include six certified-gold albums and 33 #1 singles. The We Believe God's Not Dead fall tour continues their spring tour by the same name, and is slated to visit more than 40 cities.
