CCU Names 2022 World Changers Scholarship Winners
Three distinguished freshmen were awarded full-tuition scholarships to CCU for their exceptional academic and leadership achievements during high school.
Three incoming freshmen at Colorado Christian University were recently named the 2022 World Changers full-tuition scholarship winners. Amelia Macy, Annelise Fox, and Nathan Roewer were each recognized for exceptional academic performance and leadership following the 2022 World Changers Scholarship competition.
"Each of our World Changers students comes to the CCU campus having already exemplified many of the characteristics that we hope many of our students on campus will learn over their years here and we expect that they will in turn impact their circle of influence on campus more quickly," said Jim McCormick, senior vice president and vice president for Student Life in the College of Undergraduate Studies. "We welcome them to CCU and are excited to see what is in store for them during their years on campus and beyond."
Every spring, the University hosts an annual World Changers Scholarship Competition for prospective students who will enter CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies as incoming freshmen in the fall semester. Students who qualify for the Distinguished Achievement Scholarship or Trustees' Scholarship are invited to participate in the competition.
The World Changers Scholarship is reserved for three graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership potential. Each of the three prestigious scholarship winners possesses servant leadership, self-discipline, diligence and perseverance, among other qualities.
