Anderson Named VP of Student Life and Traditional Enrollment
The Office of the President is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Neal Anderson as the Vice President of Student Life and Traditional Enrollment for the College of Undergraduate Studies effective August 1. Dr. Anderson has served in an interim capacity since April.
“I am confident that Dr. Anderson’s leadership will significantly benefit our students, enrollment futures, and desired operational outcomes,” said Eric Hogue, CCU president. “He brings a wealth of campus culture, enrollment experience, and a respected and proven track record of success in Christ-centered higher education, leadership, management, student affairs, and enrollment management. Dr. Anderson’s commitment to fostering a mission-fit and dynamic student life environment aligns perfectly with CCU's distinct mission, values, and strategic priorities.”
Dr. Anderson is a strong believer in Christ-centered higher education. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational leadership and entrepreneurial leadership from Regent University, a master’s degree from Wheaton College, and a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute. Prior to joining CCU in 2018, Dr. Anderson spent nine years in student life and operations at Moody.
In his new role, Dr. Anderson will continue to work closely with Sharon Felker, Dean of Students and A.V.P. of Student Programs. Felker plays an integral part of the student and family experience at CCU, a role that will continue in partnership with Dr. Anderson.
“Sharon and I have a great shared vision for the student experience in the College of Undergraduate Studies and I am excited to deepen our collaboration as we move forward,” said Dr. Anderson. “She has been an invaluable resource and partner.”
As a vice president, Dr. Anderson will serve on President Hogue’s cabinet and leadership team.
