
CCU Announces 2025 World Changers Scholarship Recipients
LAKEWOOD, Colo., — Colorado Christian University (CCU) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 World Changers Scholarship, a prestigious full-tuition award granted annually to three incoming freshmen who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and leadership potential. Meet the 2025 World Changers Scholarship recipients.
Levi Schmidt, from Henderson, Nevada, is a graduate of Lake Mead Christian Academy with a 4.09 GPA. He plans to major in Outdoor Leadership (B.S.) at CCU, where he hopes to develop his passion for adventure and faith-driven leadership.
Ava Travis, from McKinney, Texas, was homeschooled and achieved an impressive 4.88 GPA, a perfect ACT score of 36, and an SAT score of 1530. She intends to pursue a Pre-Medical Profession (B.S.) degree at CCU, where she will combine her love for science and faith to impact the medical field.
Ady Mittlestadt, a graduate of Rye High School in Rye, Colorado, maintained a 4.00 GPA and earned a 1220 on the SAT. Mittlestadt will major in Pre-Med (B.S.) at CCU as she prepares for a career in healthcare.
In addition to the full-tuition scholarships, 25 top finishers in the World Changers Competition have been awarded a $1,000 Top 25 World Changer Finisher Scholarship, applicable toward their tuition at CCU.
"These outstanding students exemplify the spirit of leadership and service that CCU values deeply," noted CCU President Eric Hogue. "We are honored to support their academic journeys and look forward to the remarkable contributions they will make to our community and beyond."
Dr. Neal Anderson, Vice President of Student Life and Traditional Enrollment for the College of Undergraduate Studies, added, "The dedication and achievements of these scholars are truly inspiring. We are excited to welcome them to the CCU family and witness the positive impact they will have on our campus."
The World Changers Scholarship Competition is an annual event inviting high-achieving high school seniors to compete for full-tuition scholarships by demonstrating their leadership abilities and commitment to service. All participants are recognized for their efforts, with top performers receiving additional scholarships.
