Biography and Professional Achievements

Ashley Turco Weber has devoted her entire nursing career to the caring for children and their families. She was blessed to spend many years at Children's Hospital Colorado working in several different areas (general medical/surgical/pulmonary). Her favorite place to work at Children's was the hematology/oncology/bone marrow transplant unit where she worked for over eight years.

In an effort to broaden her scope of practice and serve her local community, Weber accepted a position at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. She landed in the neonatal intensive care unit where she also cross trained to the newborn transition team and the well-baby nursery.

15 years into her nursing career, Weber felt God calling her to go into advanced practice as a pediatric nurse practitioner. During graduate school, she decided to take a few courses in nursing education. Those courses equipped her with the skills she needed to become the first Labor and Delivery and NICU nurse educator at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital.

Weber graduated in 2020, leaving her nurse educator job behind to follow a new dream -- sharing her passion for pediatric nursing with students at Colorado Christian University. She fosters her pediatric nurse practitioner practice by seeing children in an after-hours pediatric clinic. She is also part of the Children's Hospital CARE network, providing advocacy, specialized assessments, and interventions to children impacted by abuse.
