Biography and Professional Achievements
Dr. Robert Pierre-Paul's journey has taken him from a small town in the Southwest of Port-au-Prince, Haiti to New York. There, he attended St Thomas Aquinas College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in International Business. He continued his study at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting. He later attended Capella University where he graduated with a Philosophy of Doctorate in Organization and Management with a concentration in Leadership from Capella University. Pierre-Paul is a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in Austin, Texas.
Pierre-Paul has been an Affiliate Faculty at the College of Graduate Studies since 2017. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience from his previous functions as Adjunct Professor of Accounting, Leadership, and Human Resources at other Institutions, and Auditor in the banking, technology, government, and air transport sectors. This well-rounded background has allowed him to share his rich and diverse experience with his students. Robert Pierre-Paul's teaching philosophy is grounded in Matthew 7:12 which states, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the Prophets". This has been his guiding principle in the interactions with his students that helps cultivate a positive learning environment for everyone in the course room. God has blessed him with a beautiful wife (Monica) and two wonderful boys (Stephen and Anthony). They are faithfully serving their Lord and Savior at Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale.
