Make your college decision early — and qualify for an additional scholarship and other benefits to attend CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies. Applicants with strong test scores, high school or college grades, and extracurricular accomplishments may find the Preferred Admission process an excellent option.

3 Steps to Preferred Admission
Apply to CCU
Complete all of the Application for Admission to CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies, including essays and the required documents.

- Official Transcripts
- Official Test Scores (Incoming Freshmen Students) * An official ACT, SAT, or CLT test score is optional for admission during the 2024-25 academic year.

Submit Your Tuition Deposit
Admitted students must submit a $150 non-refundable tuition deposit by the Preferred Admission deadline.
- New Freshmen Students: December 6, 2024
- Transfer Students: April 1, 2025
Earn a Preferred Admission Scholarship
Studies, and have submitted a $150 non-refundable tuition deposit by the Preferred Admission deadline, are eligible to receive an additional CCU scholarship.- Colorado in-state students: An additional $2,000 scholarship per year ($8,000 maximum for up to eight semesters)
- Out-of-state students: An additional $1,000 scholarship per year ($4,000 maximum for up to eight semesters)
CCU's Preferred Admission process is non-restrictive and non-binding. Program incentives are only for students who meet the Preferred Admission program qualifications and plan to enroll in CCU's College of Undergraduate Studies for the Fall 2025 semester. Students must meet all student aid eligibility requirements while enrolled to maintain eligibility.

In addition to the extra Preferred Admission scholarship, students who qualify for Preferred Admission qualify for other great benefits.
Priority Housing Registration
Preferred Admission students qualify for early housing registration beginning in the spring.
Priority Class Registration
Preferred Admission students qualify for priority class registration beginning in the spring.
Travel Voucher for Visit Expenses
Preferred Admission students will be eligible to receive one travel voucher per student to visit Colorado Christian University. Eligible travel must be completed between September 4, 2024, and March 15, 2025.
- A VISA gift card of up to $300 will be awarded to visit CCU for a daily visit or any scheduled Preview event. The voucher may not exceed actual airfare expenses.
- A VISA gift card, up to $150, will be awarded to students who drive to CCU from a distance of 200 miles or greater. Contact your enrollment counselor for more information.
Students will receive the travel voucher upon arrival at the University. Students must supply travel receipt(s) upon arrival to receive the travel voucher.
