Beal, Sr. The Beal Legacy donation was originally given to fund a lecture series at CCU, called the R.S. Beal Sr. Lecture Series, which occurred in 2001 and 2002. R.S. Beal received his basic instruction in biblical truth through Clifton L. Fowler when the two were students at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. After leading a large number of young people to give themselves to vocational Christian service, R.S. funneled many of them to the Denver Bible Institute and, for years, led his congregation to provide financial support for the Institute. IVy Women Endowed Scholarship

    Established 2017

The IVy Women Endowed Scholarship was established by the IVy Women, a ministry of CCU that envisions women fully living out the God-given purpose in their hearts. Many IVy Women contribute to this scholarship. The ministry is built on IV Pillars — pray, learn, serve, and give — through which the women strive to keep the good soil of God’s love and grace from eroding by investing in the future generation of leaders. Much like the ivy plant needs to cling to something to support its growth, IVy Women cling to Jesus. They pray to become truly effective by turning from their own agenda to God’s eternal plan. They learn about their God-given purposes, passions, gifts, and how to apply biblical principles to enrich their lives, serve CCU, and aid the greater Denver community. They give to cultivate the good works that CCU is doing to develop young leaders to impact the world for Christ.

    1. Be an international student in good standing with the University. Preference will be given to a qualified freshman or transfer student who has completed CCU’s process for international students to be enrolled at CCU.
