Online Marketing and Sales Certificate

CCU's Marketing and Sales Certificate program combines foundational marketing principles with a biblical worldview and ethical principles to improve your overall professional development and skill set. Along with required marketing and sales certificate courses, you may choose an elective in either Personal Selling and Customer Relations or Advertising, Promotion, and Public Relations.

Courses will provide a basic foundation to understand the fundamentals of the sales and marketing world, including sales management, marketing strategies, digital marketing, marketing management, account management, business development, sales strategies, customer relationships, and more.

Program Focus

Introduction to business; marketing principles; and consumer behavior

The Certificate in Marketing provides students with an introduction to marketing and sales principles vital for growing companies of all sizes and types and provides the option to go deeper into either personal selling and customer relations and touching on topics like the sales process and sales skills or advertising, promotion and public relations and touching on topics including social media and market research. Program fundamentals mirror the American Marketing Association's body of knowledge but also incorporate a biblical worldview and scriptural principles into each subject area.

The Marketing and Sales Certificate is available as a stand-alone program, or you may transfer 12 credits from the certificate to a future marketing and sales specialization, including a CCU bachelor's degree in Marketing and Sales. The Marketing and Sales Certificate can also be used to supplement a CCU bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems Management, or Organizational Management in Project Management.
